內容：
季常趁妻玉娥午睡，與東坡涉足勾欄，玉娥念季常初犯，罰季常頂燈思過。元宵佳節，皇上與臣同樂酒，東坡酒後失言，責玉娥婦道全無，玉娥向皇上伸訴，在座女眷，包括皇后在內，均指東坡該罰，東坡心有不甘，東坡約季常賞雪，要表妹琴操情挑季常，以挫玉娥銳氣；季常一見琴操即心猿意馬，把琴操暫寄東坡家，玉娥得悉，棒打季常，風寒夜冷，季常還得罰跪於柳池旁。

東坡教季常休妻再娶，反被玉娥告上刑部，兩人當場認錯。玉娥告上金鑾，皇上偏幫，准許季常納妾，玉娥寧死不從，喝下御賜毒酒，季常恨錯難翻，東坡，琴操慚愧非常，卻原來皇后早把白醋換毒酒，玉娥無恙，季常深深體會玉娥愛夫情切，不再立壞心腸。
